This home for a family of modest means is laid out in a broad V of two wings and a connecting knuckle. One wing includes living, dining and kitchen areas, while the bedrooms and bathrooms are found in the other. The wings embrace a generous outdoor deck, oriented to valley views. A patio of recycled concrete on the north side adds a shady retreat for hot summer days.
