Ron Verdier lives in the small hamlet of Boonville CA in the bucolic Anderson Valley on a plot of land he shares with his wife, 1000 grape vines and two cats. Born in Southern California, Ron was educated at the Southern California institute of Architecture (Sci-ARC) and, at the institute's European program in Ticino, Switzerland. After receiving his Architecture degree in 1990 and being disenchanted with the bright lights of big cities, Ron moved north in 1994 to pursue a rural lifestyle in an agrarian community. With a lifelong interest in the arts, Ron began painting at a young age which became the foundation to a career in architecture. Most recently his passion for music has led him to studying music theory and Spanish classical guitar. Ron and his wife Frances enjoy traveling and immersing themselves in foreign cultures. They have a second home in Moca, Puerto Rico where they spend a considerable amount of time.
